Safety comes first
At bp, nothing matters more than safety. Our goal is to eliminate fatalities, life-changing injuries and the most serious process safety incidents.

Our operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 33.6 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2024 – while this is higher than 2023, it’s a 38% drop compared to our 2019 baseline. We also made progress on reducing the carbon intensity of the products we sell. Read more |

We continued our labour rights and modern slavery assessments of high-risk tier 1 suppliers and advanced our just transition work with our partners on projects in the UK, US and Australia. Read more |
